Selecció
El 31 de gener de 2017 es tancà la convocatòria per
a la selecció d’artistes/creadors per participar en el programa
de residències artístiques al Convent de les Arts 2016-2017
de l’Ajuntament
d’Alcover, Alt Camp, Catalunya, en col·laboració
amb Associazione Artéco.
La
filosofia de l’acció artística continguda en el projecte
està adreçada a fomentar moments de trobada i afavorir
ocasions per un intercanvi creatiu i profitós amb el territori,
entenent per territori un conjunt estructurat, articulat i complex,
constituït pel patrimoni material i immaterial.
És
a dir, medi ambient, cultura i tradicions, com també la comunitat
d’habitants i la seva memòria col·lectiva.
L’artista resident serà convidat a cercar, ja en el mateix
plantejament de la proposta projectual, la interacció amb el
territori, d’una banda i per l’altra si s’escau, la participació
de la comunitat d’habitants, tot compartint el propi discurs creatiu
així com el procés de treball, que serà obert i
lliure a l’accés dels ciutadans, en tot cas i en qualsevol
moment.

Selection
January 31, 2017, was closed the call for the selection of artists/creators
to participate in the artistic residency program 2016/2017, Convent
of Arts, Alcover, Alt Camp, Catalonia, in collaboration with Associazione
Artéco.
The
artistic philosophy actioned within the project is aimed at promoting
and encouraging moments of meeting for a creative and rewarding exchange
with the region. Region is understood as a structured set of things,
articulated and complex and constituted by tangible and intangible heritage.
That is, the environment, culture and traditions, as well as the local
community and their collective thoughts.
The
resident artist will be invited to collect information, and take the
same approach to the proposed project, interaction with the region,
on the one hand and on the other, if appropriate, participation of community
inhabitants. Sharing the creative discourse itself and the work process,
which is free and open to public access, in any case and at any time.
